History

Kiko Foods, Incorporated® was founded in 1982 by Enrique M. Cerda along with his two sons Kiko and Carlos in the small town of Chalmette, LA, located just down the road from New Orleans where good food, flavor and spices are king. In the beginning the Cerda family saw the Sno-Ball, a popular New Orleans Treat, as their manufacturing opportunity. Sno-Ball syrups became their primary focus and by 1984 production was moved to a 5,000-sq. ft. facility located in mid-city New Orleans. The rest is History!!

Today KFI®'s new home is a 64,500-sq. ft. facility housing 16,000-sq. ft. of production space. Many qualified and dedicated people have joined the KFI® family that today co-packs, private labels, and produces its own brands of custom products living up to the standards of the New Orleans tradition.
